Task disappearing, only found in search.

There seems to be a bug that makes it so a task can sometimes exist in Ellie and not show in the kanban view, calendar view, or the lists, but will only show up in search (but in search it will show that it is a task for a certain day.)

Hi, this bug is still happening. I keep coming across recurring tasks that have looked fine for months but suddenly disappear. The only way to find them is by searching (after remembering they exist).
Sometimes I upload the CSV to ChatGPT to try to track them all down when I notice that Ellie has made a mistake and hidden several of them.
Any idea how to prevent this?
I’ve sent you a few emails as you asked, but I haven’t received a reply :(

Víctor Hey Victor, reaching out directly again (sorry!)

I have the same issue today. They were not tasks created during a filter. The problem is that I managed to find some of them through the search and when I change the day they appear again, but... what happens with the ones I don't remember?
It is frustrating.
I think it may have something to do with logging into the iOS app. They started showing old tasks and then on computer everything was not as it was before.

I now display a warning if you create a task that is hidden because of an active filter
(as well as a button to auto clear all your filters in one click)
Hope this helps!

Hey Brandon just now seeing this this because of Scotts comment. Were you able to get this sorted?
For anyone else encountering this, in most cases it is because there is an active label filter (https://guide.ellieplanner.com/features/tasks/labels#what-are-task-labels)

I have the same issue. All tasks gone from kanban and calendar. When I enter a new task and try to assign a category it disappears, but appear in my google calendar.
