Fire Webhook POSTs to easily build own integrations

Hey Chris, would you be open to a button on the task card that might allow us to trigger a notification to be sent to a URL we provide?
My use case is that I don't use zapier because of costs, and instead use activepieces (Open Source) for automations. I don't mind asking you for access to the developer API and I could just build my connection there, but even easier: a way to just fire a post notification to a URL I provide that catches the request with the response body of a newTask calendar from ellie.
I can see this being something useful for people who are still waiting for the todoist, notion, or other task management app integrations so we can build our own low/no-code flows for optimized workflow. Perhaps this can be a good holdover to allow you to continue to focus on your core goals within Ellie while your customers can focus on building the workflow that works best for us.
Here's a cool example of one from capacities which is like Notion/Obsidian, etc. Thanks!

Hey Chris, I know you probably have so much on your plate right now with your other app and the other dailies. Any chance you're still open to doing this? With the rise of n8n, ai agents, I feel like a feature like this would be even more helpful to allow power users to be creative with optimizing their workflow.
Happy to discuss further workflows if you feel it would be helpful.

this would be great, i just requested asana integration but with webhooks i could do it myself if needed
Chris
hey kirstie !
Could you elaborate more about what this would look like ideally? I saw your Asana post and it looks like you need something time related? :)

Wow this is actually such a cool idea, really like the way capacities has done this
Let me see what the lift would be here to add something like this, but I would probably do it similar to them where you can define a custom action button (probably one for now) and then it will add it to this more menu at the top right
btw Notion integration is coming in the next 1-2 weeks and now that this first one is done I think Todoist and a few others should follow soon :)
